Who are we?
A student-run social organization made up of Texas A&M University undergraduate and graduate students.
Our Mission Statement!
Aggie ACHIEVEMates seeks to support an inclusive college experience for our fellow Aggies in the Aggie ACHIEVE program! We focus on building friendships and encouraging our ACHIEVE students’ program goals.
What we do!
Aggie ACHIEVEMates promotes individualized support and mentorship throughout unique system of support. We established five specific paired roles to best support the Aggie ACHIEVE students.
- Planning Partner encourages organizational skills, time management, and self-advocacy through planning sessions with our students.
- Academic Partner assist our students with projects, homework, and any other academic requirements.
- Wellness Partner supports a healthy lifestyle for our students through exercise and healthy eating.
- Social Partner promotes social skills and community involvement through meals and social events.
Our Circle of Support Model
Aggie ACHIEVEMates is a student club dedicated to providing Aggie ACHIEVE students with the support and resources they need to excel at Texas A&M. We recognize the amount of hard work and dedication it takes for our students to achieve academic success. That's why we've created our Circle Model, to connect our ACHIEVE students with the necessary support and resources.
Our Circle Model represents the Circle of Support we provide for each Aggie ACHIEVE student. At the beginning of each semester each Aggie ACHIEVEMate is paired to an Aggie ACHIEVE student's circle as one of the five types of ACHIEVEMates: Academic tutors, Lunch and Dinner partners, wellness partners, daily planners, or general members. We are committed to making sure our Aggie ACHIEVE students have the guidance and support they need to reach their goals.
